Katie Jacobson

Hailing from The Whitsundays, Australia, Katie now resides in Southern California. Much of Katie’s inspiration was born through many years spent traveling by both land and sea, exploring all corners of the globe.

With no formal training except for a few classes to learn the basics, everything Katie has produced thus far has been a result of personal trial and error. Where obscure imagination meets real life observation, Katie adds a quirky edge to any work she does.

Music has been a constant north star throughout her life. It was a natural progression to take her hyper-realistic work down a musically themed path. Katie’s most recent collaboration with Sean Sellers captures the life of an instrument through frames not often explored, inviting an alternative perspective to ponder.
